Q1 What does this Privacy Policy apply to?
A This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we collect from you or receive from third parties that act on our behalf as our agents, contractors, service providers and/or professional advisers that provide us administrative and business support (“Authorised Third Parties”), or from our parent company and its subsidiaries anywhere in the world (collectively “Related Companies”) about our consumers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information outside of our possession, control or power.
Please note we may combine personal information that we collect via one method (e.g., a website) with personal information that we collect via another method (e.g., an offline event). We do this to get a more complete view of our consumers, which in turn, allows us to serve you better and with more customization.
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by us including via:

Personal information or personal data is information that can be used to identify you on its own or in combination with other data that we collect or have access to. In cases where personal and other information is combined (e.g. personal contact information with account login or demographic information), such information is considered to be personal information).
We strive to limit the amount of personal information we collect and store to only that which is reasonably necessary to provide you with the relevant services.
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by us such as -
· Personal contact information - information that would allow us to contact you personally such as your name, home or mailing address, phone number or email address. In some cases it would include information you give us about someone else (e.g. if you provide a friend’s email address for a tell-a-friend programme).
· Accout login information.
· Demographic information (e.g. date of birth, age etc)

· Website Usage Information – information about how you use or navigate our websites, applications, online advertisements including which links you click, which pages you view and for how long, and other similar information and /or statistics such as date and time of visit, which site you came from, favorite recipes and site activities). · Consumer feedback.
· Consumer generated content – This includes information that you create and voluntarily share with us (and perhaps others) by uploading it to one of our websites or applications, including on our social network sites such as but not limited to Facebook or Twitter.
· Social network information – this includes information that is part of your profile on a third party social network (such as but not limited to Facebook) and that you allow the third party social network to share with us,
· Payment information including your credit card details, billing name and address (for example when you buy a Nestlé product online),
· Other information which we might need to collect for a specific Nestlé contest, event or campaign, form, feature or other service that you use or request.
· Sensitive personal information – This includes information about your physical or mental health or your medical condition and your religious beliefs which was gathered with your explicit consent at the point of collection.

Who does the Nestlé Malaysia Group disclose or transfer your personal information to and why?

We may also share your personal information with co-sponsors and promotion partners. This may involve, in some cases a transfer of your personal information outside Malaysia. When you become a winner in a contest or participate in our events, we may publish your name, photographs and other personal information without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes.
If you do not want your information to be collected by or shared with a company other than us, our Related Companies and our Authorised Third Parties (defined in Question 1), you can always choose not to opt in or participate in these events at the time the personal information is collected/requested.
Aggregate Information
We may share aggregated demographic or survey information with third parties, but this information is in an anonymous form and does not contain any personal information. The aggregate information that we share may include anonymous information that is captured through the use of cookies and other similar Tracking Technologies, as explained in Question 8 below.
· We may disclose your personal information to government bodies and law enforcement agencies if we are required to do so by law; or if in our good faith judgment, such action is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process; to respond to any legal claims or actions; or to protect the rights of Nestlé, its customers and/or the public.

What if I receive an e-mail, message or another contact I am not expecting - Along with every e-mail marketing communication sent to you, we provide you the option to discontinue receiving future marketing communications (i.e., unsubscribe).
